Title: Account Coordinator
Years at Elevation: 1
Hometown: Johnson City, TN
Hobbies & Interests: Taking my dog Bo for walks, boating, playing tennis and reading.
Childhood Ambition: Professional tennis player.
Best advice you’ve ever received? Plan for the worst and hope for the best.
Favorite quote: “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” –Babe Ruth
First job: Tennis Instructor
Pet peeves: #YOLO (you only live once) – don’t say it, just do it; people who don’t pick up after their dogs (after living in an apt complex, I CANNOT STAND THIS); and food smackers.
Favorite book/movie: Book: “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Movie: “Dumb and Dumber.”
Favorite local restaurant: I eat at Earth Fare a LOT.
What do you enjoy most about your work? Getting to visit different tracks, the opportunity to meet interesting people and visiting Triple D’s with Rick Schanz.
What would people never guess you do in your role? In this job you have to be willing to roll with whatever obstacles you face and do whatever you can behind the scenes to make it work. One of our VIPs brought his dog to an event one time. Guess who ended up spending the day with the dog.
First significant memory at Elevation: Probably not my first, but definitely favorite memory so far would be my first race weekend in Pocono. The weather was terrible so we stayed in our rental house, played the Heads Up game app and watched countless amounts of movies. It was a great time for bonding and getting to know each other. It felt like we were one big crazy family.
What led you to the marketing industry? I really didn’t have any intention of getting into marketing. In college I was more interested in sports law, but with my internships I found my place in marketing.
