Joe Jackson Confirms Tour Will Include Trinity Cathedral

Cleveland Is One Of Only Ten USA Markets On Summer Run

The Tour Is In Support Of The Critically Acclaimed Album “Fast Forward”

CLEVELAND (March 22, 2016) –Cathedral Concerts, recognized by the Cleveland Plain Dealer as “one of the most unusual (and diverse) endeavors to hit the city in some time,” is very proud to present the incomparable Joe Jackson at the gorgeous Trinity Cathedral on Saturday, July 9 at 8:00 p.m.

Venerable songwriter Joe Jackson has confirmed this North American tour following a sold-out 2015 tour and the release of “Fast Forward,” his first collection of original songs in seven years, via Work Song/Caroline. In addition to Cleveland, the other USA tour dates include stops in San Francisco, Boston, New York City, San Diego, Phoenix and only four other markets.  This will be Jackson’s first visit to Cleveland in 11 years.

These career-spanning shows will feature Jackson bringing out a full band which will include longtime collaborator Graham Maby on bass, guitarist Teddy Kumpel (Rickie Lee Jones, Feist), and drummer Doug Yowell (Suzanne Vega, Ari Hest).

Originally conceived to be released as a series of EPs, Fast Forward was produced and arranged by Jackson, and features four sets of four songs recorded in four different cities - New York, New Orleans, Berlin and Amsterdam - each with a different set of first-call supporting musicians. The results rank among the richest and most rewarding music of his storied career.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. ET this Friday, March 25.  General seating tickets are priced at $55.00 and VIP seating is $67.50.  All tickets can be purchased at, or at the Cathedral Concerts box office (located at 23400 Mercantile Road, Suite #10, Beachwood, Ohio 44122). Fans can also purchase tickets by phone at 1 (866) 468-3401.

“Joe Jackson is beyond amazing,” stated Denny Young, Elevation Group President and Cathedral Concerts’ executive producer.  “He has been at the top of our wish list since we started the series and his body of work speaks for itself.  Trinity will mark the smallest venue on his summer tour and we are absolutely thrilled that his very limited run of dates includes Cleveland.”

"I'm simply overwhelmed by the news of Joe Jackson coming to Trinity,” said The Very Reverend, Tracey Lind.  "Joe Jackson's energy and spirit are a perfect match for Trinity Cathedral."

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert is set to begin at 8:00 p.m.   There will be no opening act.

Cleveland-based agency The Elevation Group conceived, created and is producing

Cathedral Concerts.  Cathedral Concerts has already staged sold-out concerts featuring The Airborne Toxic Event, Red Wanting Blue and Academy Award winner, Glen Hansard.  Additionally, the series has featured four Grammy Award winners including Bruce Hornsby, Marc Cohn, The Blind Boys of Alabama and Mary Chapin Carpenter as well as several other internationally-renowned musical acts.
